Chest Smash

This is a great chest workout but its pretty tough so only take it on if you are now starting to get more experienced. I don’t need to say to much as he breaks it down in the video

I would say to do this workout exactly as he does but if you want you could do the push ups at the beginning as part of your warm up. Between sets rest for 1min, between exercises rest for 2 mins. If you struggle, put the weight down and keep going.
This work out is great and I use it regularly so try it, you will get results.

Men Become Conscious of Their Looks, Cosmetic Surgery Being Looked Upon

manboobs10The demand for cosmetic surgery is also rising among men and especially between the Canterbury men who want to get rid of their man boobs. Due the obesity outbreak, there is a rise in such disorder.

An observation has shown that the number of men visiting surgeons for the purpose of breast reduction has risen over the years. The information was confirmed by the President of Christchurch plastic surgeon and New Zealand Association of Plastics Surgeons, Dr. Howard Klein.

This kind of change in the body is attributable to hormonally receptive chest tissues which start making breasts among men.

According to Dr. Howard Klein, the number of patients has increased from six in the year to fourfold now. He has further added that this abnormal growth could be due to the kind of food consumed by the people. Non- vegetarian food and taking of steroids could also surge up the growth.

The occurrence is more among the younger men and it could lay an impact on lives of the people by disturbing them socially or harming psychologically. Apart from the cosmetic surgery, growing number of men are also opting for eyelid surgery to prevent the look of sadness and tiredness.

A breast reduction surgery is expensive and can cost to the tune of $16,000.

Cardio for Manboobs – Running

Running is very convenient and can be done anywhere. There is a lot to be said for outdoor running as you have the environment to keep you amused e.g dogging cars and dog sh*t, but many people don’t like running in public and would prefer to do it on a treadmill, if your already in the gym why not, but weather in or outdoors running is a great cardio exercise to do to reduce manboobs.

Running builds stamina, increases lung capacity, strengthens heart and burns calories but if you haven’t done any running for a long while you need to start slowly in fact don’t be ashamed to start out walking and gauge your effort by time not distance.

A good goal to have is running for 20 to 30 mins 3 to 4 times a week. In the first week take a fast walk for 20 mins expand this to 30 mins the second week, or if your up to it alternate running and walking e.g run for 2 mins then walk for 4. As you get more conditioned you can do less walking and more running. When you can run a full 30 mins, start tracking your progress by measuring distance, you can increase by 10% each week but only if you feel ready.

Running can put strain on the joints so if you run outdoor try running on grass and even surfaces. Many people say to run on your toes others say to run on your heels and some say flat footed. I say run how you feel comfortable, keep your back straight and do what feels right
Try mixing things up e.g 15 mins running then 15 mins rowing this is a good way to get 30 mins cardio in without getting bored.

Cardio for Manboobs – Swimming

Some would dis agree but from my own experience and that of friends I believe that swimming is one of  the best aerobic exercises to do if you want to lose weight and tone up.

Swimming works every muscle in the body and you have to hold your breath when your doing it so it is quite difficult. I had not been for a swim for a long while and was on a short break in Ibiza, I jumped into the Olympic size pool with a friend and decided to race each other two laps there, and back. When we got back to the side we started on I was so tired and out of breath I thought I was going to die, It would not have been so bad but we were in the deep end. I have been alternating my cardio and working swimming in ever since, with great results to my overall fitness.

Swimming is low impact, inexpensive, burns calories, tones the whole body, improves flexibility and strengthens your heart, improves lung capacity and increases endurance and is a great way to get rid of manboobs.

Here are some tips when swimming

A 180 pound man swimming at a moderate pace for 30 mins can expect to burn approximately 248 calories and get a good full body, aerobic work out.

Doing laps is the corner stone of most swimming workouts. A good aim to have is to be able to do 10 laps of an Olympic sized pool, but don’t expect to be able to do this right away, make it a goal to work towards gradually.

One way to improve conditioning is through drills where you concentrate on one body part e.g a stroke drill is where you swim freestyle but only use one arm keeping the other outstretched in front of you. Kick drills is when you keep both arms stretched out in front of you motionless and propel yourself only with your legs.

I’m not saying go for a swim every day to begin with you can go swimming on those days when other forms of cardio seem boring. The key with cardio is to mix it up you should not be doing the same cardio routine for more than 6 weeks

Manboobs Exersices – Cable and Row

Once you have got stronger and have worked through most of the exercise ist1_9147249-man-body previous you may or may not have a gym membership by now, as I said before a good balance is  between gym and home to maximise access to work out and range of different equipment. So here are some good chest exercises you can do with the gym equipment watch the videos for good form

I would say to do 4 sets on the cable as this is a very good exercise to do to reduce manboobs the first set go as heavy as you can, you should not be able to do more than 8 and then take it down slightly for each of the remaining 3 sets. Only rest for 1 min between sets. When complete rest for 2 mins then move to this -

Again do 4 sets heavy at first and take it down slightly each time.
After doing that you should be ‘mash up’ but if you still have some life in the chest you could go on to do another set of 4 whatever chest exercise you like maybe the decline press then that will be the whole chest smashed for this session.

Cardio for Manboobs – The Eliptical Machine

Eliptical machines/cross trainers have become more and more popular overist1_10237777-mid-adult-man-working-out-on-elliptical-machine recent years and when used properly works the entire body as well as reduce manboobs. They are good for rehabilitation, weight loss physical fitness and cardio vascular endurance.
I thought they were just a fad or treadmills for girls until I actually used one and found myself sweating uncontrollably after 15 mins. I decided to try it out because I was having some knee pain after hitting the treadmill four times a week and because of the low impact cycling motion when on the eliptical you don’t damage your knees, its low impact and its great for hitting the manboobs also because it has moving handles that allow you to work the upper body as well. These handles usually have heart monitors so you can check your heart rate and see if you need to turn it up a gear or take your foot off the gas
Obviously each machine is different but most allow you to set resistance levels, customise workouts and enter your personal data so you know how many calories you burned. There are also plenty of high quality indoor eliptical machines that you can buy and surprisingly I have seen many that don’t take up the whole room

A 180 pound man using the eliptical for 30 mins at a moderate intensity can expect to burn approximately 400 calories and work all the major muscles in the body

So to review the benefits of the eliptical

  • Burns calories (more than a treadmill)
  • Improves balance
  • Tones muscles upper & lower
  • No impact on joints

If your just starting your cardio exersice programme remember to go slow adding to intensity (how hard) frequency (how often) and time (how long you exercise) slowly as you become fitter.Currently I like to do about 20 mins on the eliptical and 20 mins on the treadmill because I realised that when it comes to cardio you need to mix it up to keep the body guessing and continue to get good results. Try different types of cardio and see what works for you but the eliptical will get you good results on the cardio side of your workout if you are trying to get rid of manboobs.

Udderly ridiculous

giantmanboobsA Chinese dairy farmer is celebrating after losing his claim to having the biggest pair of man boobs in the world.

Doctors at a specialist chest clinic in the Chinese capital Beijing took pity on the 53-year-old dairy farmer Guo Feng after he had been turned down by successive doctors.

Doctor Zhang Lilan at the Jinan Chest Hospital said: “The operation was a complete success. We have successfully removed his breasts.

“For his work as a farmer they were extremely uncomfortable and got in the way of everything. We removed them and told him to eat less fatty foods in future and to have a healthier diet.”

The man, 53-year-old Guo Feng, said: “About 10 years ago my chest started to get larger but I didn’t think much of it as I was putting on weight all over – but in the last few years it became unbearable. People said I could have been eligible for the Guinness book of records but that was one record I did not want to have and I am glad to be rid of them.”

He added that the operation had cost him all his savings to get rid of the breasts but it was worth it.

Doctor Zhang Lilan added: “In 30 years of working as specialist here at the chest clinic I have never seen anything like it.”

Hiding Manboobs? – Compression Vest

The compression vest or ‘moobtube’ as it affectionately known, is a shirt worn under the clothes that hides manboobs, belly fat and love handles and it probably wont surprise you to hear that they are selling out everywhere.

In my opinion they do the job, which is why they are so popular but it should only be temporary, imagine getting that beautiful girl home undressing her, getting her into bed, and then comes the moment you have to take your top off, what ya gonna do – make love to her with your top on, or take it off and risk spoiling the moment, neither are a good option so like I said, temporary. Just while your working on your body or at special occasions, it should be your goal to fix your body permanently by getting rid of the manboobs, this can only be done through hard work and dedication.
